Nathaniel: Hey Kay. That was pretty intense, I-

Kaylee: I just don’t get why she treats me like this? Why does she hate me? I’ve never even done anything to make her act like this, and she just hates me.

Nathaniel: Your mother doesn’t h-

Kaylee: Yes she does! Admit it! She’s always hated me! Why? [starting to cry] Why Dad? Why does she hate me for just being me?

Nathaniel: Oh, Kaylee. Your mother…she’s just become obsessed with her campaign. With the image of the family, that we’re the perfect family unit that everyone aspires to. She thinks it will get her elected if people look up to us as a model family.

Kaylee: We’re very far from a model family, Dad.

Nathaniel: Yes, we are.

Kaylee: …Are you and Mom gonna get a divorce?

Nathaniel: I- No, Kay. We’re not getting a divorce. Not yet, anyway. Your mother means well, she’s just…extremely misguided.

Kaylee: Mom, leave Yuki out of this. I literally just met her, and she seems nice-

Alyse: I DON’T CARE HOW ‘NICE’ SHE IS!!! I will not have you seen with her! I have half a mind to pull you out of public school and –

Nathaniel & Kaylee: WHAT?!

Kaylee: Mom! You can’t do that?

Alyse: And why ever not? You clearly show you can’t handle being away from the house-

Nathaniel: Alyse, if you pull her out of school for this, what do you think people will say? Hmm? They’ll say you’re a terrible mother who doesn’t know how to take care of their child, and-

Alyse: Alright, enough!

All:

Alyse: You’re grounded, and I still expect you to wear a dress to school.

Kaylee: [sigh] Fine.

Nathaniel: Alyse-

Alyse: Leave it, Nathaniel. You can argue with me about this later. Bed, you two. Now!

Garret & Kaylee: Yes Mother.

I’ve given up on editing screenshots for this series. I just am not happy with the results once they’re uploaded to tumblr. Maybe for my nsb, but for Hargrove, editing is no longer something I’m gonna do, it just slows me down and makes me dread going anywhere near the story. So yeah.

So the queue has run out on both of my blogs, and I have work all this week…so posts may be a bit sparce. I have a late shift on Tuesday, so maybe I’ll get in game in the morning, but I just don’t know. Anyway, ty for your patience lovelies! I love you ❤️❤️❤️

Alyse: I told you both my expectations for how you would act when we first moved to this tiny postage-stamp of a town. I expected you to be well-behaved children, who would reflect well on their parents’ reputation, and I have been sorely disappointed. The mere fact that you went to that cafe with those…alternative folk, and sat with them, proves to me that the two of you have absolutely no idea of how to make friends with the proper sort.

Alyse: Take that teal-haired girl, for instance. That is no natural hair color, what must her parents think? They must feel so ashamed of her and her poor life decisions, because surely after the hair, there are many more just laying under the surface.

Alyse: Thank you for finally joining us, Kaylee. I’m so sorry to interrupt your day dreaming.

Kaylee:

Garret: Mom, why are we here. We’ve literally never had a curfew before, and now we’re suddenly being punished for being out after eight? What are we, five years-old?

Alyse: Don’t sass my, Garret. Or you’ll be grounded for insubordination!

Garret: Yes, ma’am.

what packs do you have?

I currently have a very limited amount of packs because my laptop is OLD, but the ones I do have are:

get to work, get together, and city living; outdoor retreat, spa day, and dine out; luxury party, perfect patio, kids room, and vintage glamour.

I really wish I could have more in my game, but my computer is on its last legs, which is why I’m debating buying spooky stuff with my first paycheck [for the spoopy season] or just saving up until I can buy a better desktop. TY for the ask lovely!
