P: Yes ma’am.
A: Let’s get out of here.
P: [waggling eyebrows] Where do you have in mind?
A: Oh, I have a pretty good idea where 😉
But Athena did not go home to her husband. Instead, she went back downstairs to the bar and started chatting up Paolo. At least, that’s what he said his name was.
She really didn’t care.
She just cared that he would be a distraction from what Gavin had done.
A: Hey, you filthy little homewrecker.
Athena was done with this, she had to take matters into her own hands. She would show this little tramp not to mess with her or her man, and deal with Gavin’s betrayal later.
Z: Oh, I’m the homewrecker? That’s rich, considering you didn’t even know who Bethany’s dad was before she was born!
A: You shut your whore mouth and get ready to catch these hands!
Z: Come at me, bitch!
In the scuffle of the two women fighting, Gavin made a speedy exit and ran back home with his tail between his legs. He didn’t really care about the outcome, he just wanted to be as far away as he could from the fiasco.
A: That should teach you, you trollop. Now I’m going to go home to MY husband and I better not hear about you going anywhere near him again.
She saw them enter Venom, the only bar Oasis Springs had. She was going to follow them…
G: One last thing before we go in.
Z: [huffs] What?
*smooch*
They didn’t realize their mistake. Gavin hadn’t noticed that she had followed him all the way from willow Creek. And she was PISSED.

- What causes them to feel dread?
- Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth?
- Do they usually live up to their own ideals?
- Who do they most regret meeting?
- Who are they the most glad to have met?
- Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke?
- Could they be considered lazy?
- How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?
- How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?
- Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?
- Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?
- What memory do they revisit the most often?
- How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people?
- How sensitive are they to their own flaws?
- How do they feel about children?
- How badly do they want to reach their end goal?
- If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?

Later that morning Bethany aged up, and momma’s little princess took her first steps.
A: [cooing at the baby] That jerk thinks he can cheat on me? Well he’s mistaken, yes he is, yes he is. That’s right, your daddy deserves what’s coming to him. But what should mommy do, dearest? What should mommy do?
Athena continued to coo and stare into the face of the only human being she loved anymore until the early hours of the morning, constructing a plot, puzzling out how she would do it.
She decided to wait, to deliberate, and make sure everything just perfect.
