G: Cool cabin, babe. You sure know how to pick ‘em.
A: Yeah, the listing on SimBNB said it was really close to all the coolest trails and has it’s own fire pit.
G: Awesome. Let’s get this vacation going!

A: Ah, come on Gav. It’ll be fun. And think of all the alone time we’ll have. [wink wink]
G: Hmmm, alright fine. But only for the weekend, I need to be back at work bright and early on Monday.
A: That’s plenty of time. [kiss] Thank you, Gavin. This means a lot to me.
G: Any time, babe.
A: Let’s get some sleep. We’ll have to leave early tomorrow.
A: So I had this idea for us talking things out a bit before we see the therapist…
G: What ya got in mind?
A: I was thinking we could take a vacation, just the two of us, to Granite Falls. Rent a dumpy little cabin in the woods, play horseshoes, hike. All that fun stuff. I think it’d be good for us to spend some time together.
G: I don’t know, Athena…
A: I think we are. I know we have a lot of problems, but I really do think we could work this out. I’ve made an appointment with a therapist for us and everything so we can talk things out with a mediator.
G: Wow. You’re really serious about us working this out. Quite honestly, I thought you were just going to divorce me, get full custody of Bethany, and collect alimony until the day I died.
A: …Well aren’t you morbid. Come on, let’s go upstairs.
G: You mean I don’t have to sleep on the couch?
A: Not tonight, we’ll see about in the future.
[indistinct PolitiSim chatter]
A: Hey, what ya watching?
G: I don’t even know, some political rally in San Myshuno.
A: Can I join you?
G: [very long sigh] Athena? What are we doing? Are we even worth saving?
A: …And they all lived happily ever after. The end.
B: Me no need a pwince.
A: No you don’t. Because you are a smart, independent little girl who doesn’t need someone else to save her. Now time to sleep, baby girl.
B: Night night, momma.
A: Goodnight princess.
B: Momma home!
A: Hey baby, what are you doing out here? Let’s get you in bed.
B: Momma wear priddy dwess. Me wear priddy dwess too.
A: It is a very pretty dress, princess. But now it’s time for bed.
They continued to enjoy their meal while Bella said just about every nasty thing about Gavin and Zoe she could think of, ranging from mild insults of their dress sense, to calling Gavin’s affair a ‘crime against sim kind.’
Athena sat back and let Bella do it. After all, if Bella was this upset about her friend’s marriage, then certainly what she was planning couldn’t be that bad.
Eventually, Bella needed to get home to tuck Alexander in and make sure Cassie wasn’t staying up all night watching SimFlix. They paid their tab and parted ways.
They finally got their food.
B: Took him long enough.
