I think its a mixture of cold medicine and lack of sleep, (lol oops), but I really wanted to say thank you to my amazing group of friends who are so lovely. I never thought I would be able to make friends on this tumblr, let alone with such amazing people. Plz ignore my sleepy/medicated ramblings and just go follow them if you don’t already. They are all super cool.

on the one hand this is a joke post because lol i have never made a good post in my life, but also, if i hadn’t made the connection

between this update and my sudden nosedive in activity, i would have been really fucking discouraged about all the shit i’ve been working on lately. i guarantee there are people on tumblr right now who haven’t made that connection, and who are trying to figure out why suddenly no one likes anything they’ve made. and that fucking sucks.

Reminder to go into your settings and turn off ‘Best Stuff First’ because my activity’s tanked a couple days ago for no reason so this stuff IS happening.

You WILL miss content with that setting on.

I’m honestly so angry about the increase in prices for ts4 cats and dogs in Brazil. It’s unreal, it’s still on pre sale, and it changed overnight from 79,90 reais to 149,90 reais. There’s a lot of misinformation, EA doesn’t know or cares to say what happened. They said it was right, then said it was wrong and they were “investigating”.  From what I gathered in the foruns, EA says:

1 – They have the right to do it bc it’s their company. (lmao no joke)
2 – It’s because of high demand. 
3 – It always raises on pre sale and then it goes back to the original price. 

149,90 is the original price for the TS4 base game (and the price it still is up to this day). All expansions pack up to this day have always been 79,90. Their prices NEVER changed, not on pre sale, not on anything, other than going on sale when origin goes on sale. Either way this is just plain wrong, why would any expansion pack cost the same as the base game? Do they think we’re dumb enough to believe that? Nothing happened in economy overnight to justify this. That’s a huge parcel of the minimum wage in Brazil, we’re literally going through an economic crisis and apparently this is how EA thinks they’ll get more buyers? Let me tell you, that’s not happening. 

I got my copy on pre sale for the original price of 79,90, and the only reason I’m making this post is because it seems like an act of bad faith to me and I’m very mad for all the people that were saving their moneys to buy this game pack for the price it was announced. I really hope they come through and make this right.

After looking up American pricing, I found that the price for standard edition base game has gone down to $40-the same as cats and dogs-with deluxe edition being $50. This is ridiculous, a pack should never cost as much as base game!
